The Travelodge Brand
Travelodge hotels has hotel franchises in Canada, the United States,
and Mexico. Travelodge is known for offering superb amenities with their accomodations, at
a reasonable rate. Travelodge Canada caters mostly to corporate guests, as they make up
more than 70% of Travelodge's business as a whole.
Scott King established the Travelodge brand in 1935, when he opened
his first motor coach court in San Diego. Travelodge was acquired by
Cendant and as such is a member of the new TripRewards
program.
Canalta and the Travelodge Brand
Canalta has one operating Travelodge at this time, and none
currently under development.
